Atlantic Bro-ing – Stand #
The premier event in ocean rowing – a challenge that will take us more than 4800 kilometers west from San Sebastian in La Gomera on the Canary islands to Nelson’s Dockyard, English Harbour in Antigua & Barbuda. We will take on this race begins in early December 2023, with up to 60 teams participating from around the world.
The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge brings together teams from all walks of life united by the same objective: to take on the unique challenge of crossing an ocean in a rowing boat. We will battle with sleep deprivation, salt sores, and physical extremes inflicted by the race. We will be left with their own thoughts, an expanse of the ocean and the job of getting the boat safely to the other side.
Moving the boat is solely down to us.... but, using 2 solar panels located on top of our boat, we will generate the vital energy required for our water desalination kit, communication tools, GPS navigation and very important power for our speakers and mobile phones.
A strong combination of solar and human power will achieve what many would think impossible...

ISO Baseline – Stand #N04
Ian Boylan is the originator behind the idea. Ian has worked with energy management systems since the early days of IS393 and EN16001 and the first version of ISO 50001.
Even before 50001 had been written he had produced his minor thesis at University College Cork, under the taught masters on Sustainable Energy titled, “Energy Management Standards, Energy saving or Bureaucracy” This gives
an insight to Ian’s mind-set – don’t do something that does not add value.
In the early days of Energy Management Standards, Ian began doing some work with Certification Europe as a Technical Assessor – assisting the “management system” auditors to assess the effectiveness of energy management systems, concentrating primarily on the “technical” component of the management system, working primarily with Dr. John Ryan as a very effective assessment team.
Over time this has led to Ian becoming expert in the ISO 50001 world,
undertaking ISO 50001 audits as a lead assessor for Certification Bodies, delivering ISO 50001 training and sitting on the ISO committee responsible for ISO energy standards.
From the early days Ian recognised the many common flaws that people had with implementing energy management systems and running energy management systems and believed that these essentially fell under a number of different categories.
To Ian it always made logical sense to “build” systems and structures that made an energy manager’s job easier to do. One thing always stuck in his mind – a comment by a client of his in relation to energy management systems – “my job is to make the meter turn slower, not to write documentation about how to make the meter turn slower”.
Ian set out with an intention in mind, to develop a software system to overcome the shortfalls that he had seen in so many systems and organisations.
Approaching this a number of different times, where any potential partner seemed to approach it from the perspective of “we have a piece of
software that does 90% of what you want and we just need a few small modifications” made it clear in Ian’s mind that he either had to give up, or find someone to do it with directly.

Smart M Power Co – Stand #L05
Unlocking the vast quantities of latent Grid-Edge flexibility to support distributed energy production is perhaps the biggest future innovation to electricity markets. Smart M Power Co. (MPOWER) is a dedicated Energy Community Utility having developed an innovative solution based on a new concept: ‘disturbance-neutral communities’. Such communities respond autonomously, i.e. with minimal or no interaction with the DSO, to disturbances from production hosted by that community. These Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) combine flexible prosumers to create regulated Disturbance Neutral ‘Community Grids’, with minimal disruption to DSOs. Community Grids are operated by Community System Operators (MPOWER & co). Powered by Digital & Cloud Technology, organised prosumers implement dynamic, local markets, integrated by advanced intelligent controls, spanning energy sources, in fully inter-connected Community Grid systems. MPOWER enables more electricity to be produced, or recycled, within Positive Energy Districts (energy communities) without disturbing the reliable, secure and economic distribution of energy while accelerating the Energy Transition towards a Zero Carbon Energy Future.

South East Energy Agency – Stand #L04
3 Counties Energy Agency (3cea) rebrands as South East Energy Agency. This exciting rebrand comes at a very significant time as the team celebrates 20 years in business. The new name reflects our new alliance, now serving Counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford. Building on the success already achieved by the 3cea, the four Counties have come together to create a low carbon, energy efficient zone that gives us the scale to achieve our ambitions in energy efficiency by 2030 and 2050. Our next challenge is to deliver the ambitious decarbonising targets and work together to support the transition to more rational use of energy and integration of clean energy across the region. Our success in reaching the targets will depend on how we and others work in partnership to deliver energy efficiency, clean energy, behavioural change and greater sustainability.

Total Air Solutions - Stand #B05
Total Air Solutions are Irelands leading ventilation compliance company.
We are licenced installers of the worlds 1st artificial intelligence-based solution for real time monitoring of pharmaceutical ventilation systems. The sensors look at 4 main perimeters which are.
. Dust accumulation in HVAC system
. Microbial contamination
. Pressure differential in AHU filtration
. IAQ (Indoor Air Quality)
Having Remotair real time monitoring in your HVAC system means there is no down time for unnecessary changing of filters, as well as having a legal benefit to having your ventilation system monitored 24/7. The AI machine learning of the sensors allows the predictive analysis of the HVAC systems. It can tell you when you should clean the system or change the filters. We do this by using a matrix of 100,000 plus data points collected over years of research.
Total Air Solutions also seal ventilation systems in the pharmaceutical industry using our product called Aeroseal. This innovative technology allows us to offer our clients the opportunity to save on energy costs along with reducing carbon emissions and increasing the overall air quality in their workplace. It has been proven that there are substantial savings on energy bills and CO2 emissions after AEROSEAL is applied. Worth Noting at the most recent SEAI Energy Show “AEROSEAL” won the Best Energy Efficient Product of the Show Award 2022. This product is perfect for large volumes of air in which pharmaceuticals are front and centre.
All in All for the health, hygiene and efficiency of your HVAC systems we are the go to company in Ireland with our moto –“ Clean, Seal, Monitor and Maintain”.
